Christmas parties at school for the little boys
During the last week of school before Christmas break, both little boys had their class Christmas parties. I was so blessed to spend some time at both parties. Here are some pictures from each one.
Here are some pictures from Anson’s party. He had lots of food and lots of fun. He will be moving to a new class at the first of the year (and going 2 days a week now instead of just 1 – which is good for me and for him) so we had to say bye-bye to Ms. Susie & Ms. Alecia. We will miss you guys!
And here are some pictures from Aidan’s party. They sang some songs for us (from their program that night) and had snacks. Ms. Jamie (whom I LOVE) had gifts for all of them and a bag full of crafts they had done.
We are glad to have a couple of weeks off from school for the holidays – however by the end of the 2 weeks, I think they will be just as happy to return to school as I will be for them to go!
Merry Christmas to everyone – hope you all have a blessed holiday!
Preschool Christmas party at church
On December 12th, I had finals in school – and the little boys had their preschool Christmas party at church. So, my wonderful husband loaded up the kids (all 4!) and took them to their party. He’s such a good Daddy!
They got to paint Christmas trees, eat lunch and see Santa! What a fun day!!! I sure hate that I missed it but … I did manage to pass all 3 of my classes this semester with 2 Bs & 1 A ~ YAY!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…
I woke up to go to school on a Saturday at the beginning of December and there was snow on the ground. Granted, it wasn’t much but the kiddos still enjoyed it. I had to leave to rush to school for some tests but Ricky took the boys out and let them see it on the deck and they make a tiny snowman. We recently allowed the snowman to melt – he lasted in our fridge a couple of weeks!
The view from our back deck.
Sweet footprints…
And the infamous snowman!
Aidan’s Thanksgiving Feast
Aidan had his Thanksgiving feast at school the Thursday before Thanksgiving. This is the first year we’ve had a feast with him and wow – was it a lot of fun! And the food was AWESOME – made by Big Bolton’s BBQ (and from what I understand, the restaurant is very good as well!). Anson had his party in his room too so he got to have some fun too! Here are a few pictures from the day.
Austin’s Christmas Band Concert
Austin joined the band this year and is playing the baritone. He recently had his first band concert. Check out the video below.
