Anson is learning technology early

I met a friend at Starbucks this morning to go over a lab in my Anatomy class and give it to her to turn in for me this Saturday – since I obviously won’t be there!  While there, she brought her iPod Nano and headphones with some kid friendly cartoons on it.  Anson loved watching it.  Can you tell?

These pictures were taken with my iPhone – guess the whole family is pretty “into technology,” huh?

10 more days to go…

I had a doctor’s appointment today and after seeing the doctor, I confirmed that we are set for April 3rd at 6:30am for our c-section.  It seems so far away … but then it also seems really close!  I can’t believe she will be here in 10 days … and I keep wondering what will our boys think of her – especially Anson!  Anyway, please be sure to say a prayer for us as we prepare for the birth of our 4th child.  And please pray that the surgery goes well and mom & baby come out of it perfectly healthy and fine!  We appreciate it and will update with information on the baby & pictures as soon as we can.

 With love,

Vicki and Ricky

Started decorating baby’s room

We started putting stuff up on Aspen’s wall today.  We still have some things to add but thought I would post what we have done so far.

Over the changing table – maternity pictures and 2 little square flowers.

The flower hooks – above these hooks on this wall will go her birth announcement cross-stitch I am doing for her and a white shelf for some little knick knacks.

Close-up of the little flower hooks – aren’t they precious??

Her crib and the big garden painting over it.  We are thinking of asking Kelly to paint us two more in 5×7 to go on each side.  The wall looks a little bare to us.  What do you think?

The rest of the flower paintings over her doll house bookcase.

Over the valance is where her name will go.  We didn’t have it in us to figure out how to apply the name today with kiddos whining, etc… Maybe we can do that next weekend after bedtime!
