Our Christmas Card
If you didn’t receive our family Christmas card then here it is! Due to economic woes, we could only mail the card to family and very close friends and did a nice letter to everyone else.

Anyway, hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.
Oh, and photos by Grethel Van Epps (www.gvephotography.com).
Mommy playing with her camera … and Anson playing with his!
I got my Canon out to play around with it and try to test out the settings. I’ve been doing a tutorial online to help me learn how to maximize the benefits of my camera and get better at taking good pictures of the boys with it. These are some of the better snapshots I got – without any editing … no time right now! LOL
Sweet little face!
One of the better pictures of Aidan I have gotten recently. With his shyness around the camera, it is so hard to get him to look without his hands over his face!
I have no idea what Anson is doing but I thought it was funny and cute.
Another great picture of Anson’s sweet little face.
I love this little face. I think this is my favorite picture from these snapshots. Isn’t he a ham????
A little while later in the evening, Austin had the Fuji out (we gave him the point-and-shoot Fuji digital after we purchased our Panasonic) and Anson grabbed it. I guess I am raising a future photographer.
Trying to take a picture – just like Mommy does.
“Mommy, are you taking my picture while I am taking one too?”
Such cute little facial expressions from Anson!
Quite the “ham” – he LOVES to have his picture taken and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to be the center of attention. Christmas is going to be a BLAST around here!!!!!
Aidan’s school Christmas party
Aidan had his Christmas party at Mother’s Day Out today. He has gotten so shy about the camera these days but I managed to get a few pictures of him without TOO much trouble.
These are the shirts they made. It has a snowman on it (made out of his footprint – very cute!) and snowflakes.
The children sang songs for us (this was especially cute and I SOOOO wish I had thought to take my video camera). Anson had to sit right in the middle of all the kids too! Absolutely adorable – he wants to be just like his big brother!
Picking out our Christmas tree
I know, I am behind in posting but trying to get caught up before Christmas.
We took the boys out the day after Thanksgiving to Williams Orchard in Argo to pick out our Christmas tree.
The boys weren’t too interested in picking out a tree – they were much more interested in the cat they had up there.
Anson chasing the cat.
Aidan & Anson “cornering” the cat. Poor kitty was so scared!
Despite their lack of enthusiasm about picking one out, we did end up getting a tree and here it is in the dining room. I took pictures of it after it was decorated but none of them turned out looking really nice. I *hope* to get a good picture of the boys in front of the tree before Christmas and I will post that.
