Unsupervised “help” with the laundry…
This is what happens when you have a toddler and you leave him unsupervised with a basket of clothes.
“YAY! Throwing these clothes all over the living room is so much fun!!!”
“Hey Daddy! I was helping with the clothes.”
“I’m tired….I am going to take a break and watch some TV. Laundry is such hard work!!”
Anson’s first rice cereal
Anson had his first taste of cereal last Saturday evening.
Ok, here we go ….. First bite!!
I don’t think he liked it too much. The look on his face, as well as the fact he let it “run out” of his mouth spoke for itself. He just wanted mommy to nurse him and forget this stuff. Needless to say, we didn’t try too many bites before giving up.
Feather wants to know what this is in the bowl. After a good sniff, she didn’t want it either!!
Cereal face!!!
Random pictures of Anson from October
Here are some random shots of Anson from this month.
Such a sweet smile. Anson & Aidan were playing together – it makes Anson so happy to play with his big brother. He is so silly!!!
Sleepy baby – I tell you, there has to be tryptophan in the breast milk. It knocks Anson out!!!
Anson’s first time in the exersaucer. He wasn’t too sure about it – until he noticed the blue bear rattle and then he was happy. He seemed to enjoy it. One week later… he LOVES to get in there and play now.
Aidan was sweet enough to show him how to play with some of the stuff. He also took the time to show Anson how to jump in it and now Anson is doing a great job building his leg strength!!
Potty Time!!
We have been talking a lot about the potty and have started letting Aidan sit on the potty with his clothes on, just to get the feel for it. Well, these pictures were taken one morning when Aidan ran and sat on the potty by himself. He had just gone #2 in his diaper and before we could change him, he ran into the bathroom, got the stool & had a seat.
Daddy gave him a book to read while he sat on the potty – training him early, I guess.
Random pictures of Aidan from October
Here are some random shots of Aidan from this month.
Here he is coloring on his Elmo Aquadoodle Pads. Ok, do you think he will be right handed or left handed? It switches up when he colors but he always eats with his left. How funny is that?
And here is Aidan playing pretend. He came to the table and brought his little backpack (aka “lunch box”), his Diego cup that we let him have to play with and a tupperware container he plays with (I guess that is his “lunch”) and pretended to eat lunch. He sat in Austin’s chair – I guess to feel big while Austin was at school. I just thought it was so cute he was pretending so well – I guess speech is really paying off!!
